If you want a lively golfing weekend, head for Le Touquet. If you’re looking for really relaxed atmosphere (and appealing dining prices), the beach resorts of Wimereux, Hardelot and Fort-Mahon are offer wonderful walks among the promenade or on the huge beaches. Inland, the ancient towns of Saint Omer and Montreuil-sur-Mer provide olde-worlde-charme and a great reputation for dining.
