Oman is the most natural of the Middle East golf destinations. Sitting at the mouth of the Persian Gulf and on the Arabian Sea, the capital of Muscat boasts three fine golf courses, a truly authentic atmosphere, luxury hotels and warm hospitality.

Wealthy for several centuries thanks to its geographical location, Oman traded heavily with the UK and there are still strong commercial and cultural ties with Muscat being a long-term destination for upmarket traders and tourists. Oman’s economy is now based on oil but tourism and foods are also important. Governed by an absolute monarchy, Oman is ranked by the UN as the most improved nation in the world over the last 40 years and the World Economic Forum named Oman among the top ten safest countries in the world in 2015.

Muscat is in central Oman and ideally placed for the international airport and an exciting array of excursions including the four-hour Classic Muscat Tour, the wonderful five-hour Muscat by Night, the amazing all-day “Grand Canyon” tour and the highly-recommended two-hour Sunset Dhow Cruise…and many more besides.
