Golf Holidays in Malaysia

For Malaysia, I recommend a two-centre holiday taking in a couple of superb golf courses and the sights of Kuala Lumpur and the beautiful island retreat of Langkawi.
Langkawi was declared a Global Geopark by UNESCO in 2007 and is the name of an archipelago made up of 104 islands. It is 20 miles west of the mainland and adjacent to the land border between Malaysia and Thailand, where the Andaman Sea and Strait of Malacca meet. The flight time from Kuala Lumpur takes one hour.

With golden beaches and traditional villages, Langkawi is known as the Jewel of Kedah and features waterfalls, hot springs and forest parks. Famous wildlife include flying squirrels and (close behind no doubt!) flying foxes. Langkawi is a destination where you should explore the jungle and Mother Nature as much as the fairways.

Daytime temperatures on Langkawi are very steady throughout the year at about 28 C. The sea temperature is slightly higher. The dry months are December through to March with April and the summer months being reasonable.
Kuala Lumpur is an exciting city of nearly 2m people famous for amazing street food and some of the most impressive buildings in the world…As well as incredibly warm and welcoming people and direct flights from London.
Culture, history, shopping, entertainment and nature and well as world-class golf courses and hotels, makes Kuala Lumpur a constant feature in the Top 10 City Destinations of the World. Expect daytime temperatures of 32 C during the day and pretty consistent and heavy rainfall throughout the year but you can also expect between six and eight hours of sunshine every day because the rain comes in short and heavy bursts. And when it does rain, the city boasts plenty of covered walkways to keep you dry between your various adventures.
