After a recent visit to Hôtel du Golf, St Omer, situated on the Aa Saint-Omer golf course, we’re already plotting a return to the region. After just a 35-minute drive from the Le Shuttle Calais terminal, you can be in your room looking straight onto the fairways. The bedrooms are functional with a king-size bed. The bar area was relaxed and friendly and the “faux cow hide” bar a fun design touch. The décor feels fresh throughout the hotel and rooms. The new spa area, although small, was suitable for a boutique golf hotel and it was a very pleasant reset after 18 holes.
