Overlooking the Old Course, the Old Course Hotel provides an historic and luxury base from which to play the famous courses and explore the wonderful town.

There are three restaurants and I would recommend a night in the Jigger Inn with its unique atmosphere and tasty meals. There’s a spa, tasteful bedrooms and classic service.

The Old Course Hotel is the second best-value way of getting a guaranteed round on the Old Course and two or three other “tick-list” courses besides. The first way is through my special contact but, if you’re looking for luxury, a few nice “freebies” and to wake up looking over the world’s most celebrated golf course, this is the place!
