Course overview

Dating from 1786, Crail is the seventh oldest golf club in the world and it’s got one of the prime links locations you could wish for. There are two courses; Old Tom Morris laid out Balcomie Links in 1895 and is a challenging Par 69 full of subtlety and is blessed with many great holes. You can’t find much better links than this and yet it’s a fraction of the cost of the more famous courses in the region. Gill Hanse built the recently built Craighead and it’s a surprisingly natural layout taking full advantage of the amazing views and prevailing winds. What a great (and cost-effective way) of playing 36 holes of great links.
