I’ve known the hotel for nearly 30 years and I’ve never seen it look so smart. Under the InterContinental badge, I feel that the hotel has finally found its true identity-classic beauty on the outside and contemporary on the inside.
Hotel Accommodation
The bedrooms are light and soft and extremely stylish and the lounges boast the hallmarks of true five-star hotels. Dining is in the former chateau library and the menu is what | would describe as “hearty gourmet”. There’s a stunning spa and the gardens and sur-rounding woodland and perfect for a pre-dinner stroil with a cocktail in your hand.
And despite all the interior luxury on offer, the highlight just might be the elevated terrace with its treetop view of thick forest with Paris sometimes viewable in the distance.
Why This Hotel ?
There have been a few other luxury hotel openings in Chantilly in recent years but Chateau Mont Royal is the only one that can really rival Auberge du Jeu de Paume. They have two very different locations but what a lovely decision to make!
