Morfontaine is also often voted Europe’s finest golf course. Stunning and special in every way, the 18-hole Le Grand Parcours was designed by Tom Simpson in the 1920’s and is a treat cut through tall pines and heather. The fairways are like carpets and the greens as good as you can get. In addition to the main course, the nine-hole La Valliere, opened in 1911, is another stunning design and makes for a perfect finish to an idyllic golfing day. The clubhouse is a welcome step back into time.
