Chateau de Raray – La Licorne

Course overview

With 18 holes cut through an ancient forest, Raray is a visual treat and has hosted Shell’s Wonderful World of Golf a few years ago with Furyk against Montgomerie (which ended in a honourable half). The start is fairly mundane but you soon enter the woods and the holes get cleverer and the course even more attractive.

In Detail

There are some fabulous par-fives and long par-threes but the par-fours are relatively negotiable. For the afternoon round, there’s a nine-hole par 35 and a pitch and putt to tighten up your short game. Have your cameras ready from when you turn into the drive until the moment you leave.
