From Montpellier to the Spanish border, Languedoc is a sun-blessed and completely unspoilt region with, officially, the warmest climate in France.   Fly down to Nimes, Montpellier or Perpignan in under two hours and you’ll discover a whole different way of living and eating.  Drinking is very good too with the wines now rated among the best in France (and keenly-priced too!).
