Course overview

Originally designed in 1992 and extensively renovated in 2006, Montado’s par-72, 7,000-yard (6,425-meter) layout provides a challenging yet enjoyable round.

The course features wide fairways, well-placed bunkers, and rolling greens, demanding precision and strategy.
One of the most iconic holes is the par-3 18th, where the green is located on an island surrounded by water, creating a dramatic and memorable finishing hole. Other standout holes include the par-5 4th, which requires a strong tee shot over a natural ravine and the par-4 14th, where water hazards come into play on both the approach and the green.

Montado has hosted several professional tournaments, including the Portuguese Open, showcasing its quality and reputation among golfers.
