Golf Holidays in Arizona

For a warm-weather golf holiday with the added bonus of sensational golf, no language barrier and a pretty attractive exchange rate, Arizona is one of the best all-round destinations. From March to June and from September to November, the weather is as ideal as you could wish for. It can be a little nippy in the evening from December to February and it’s very hot in July and August but the prices for these five months are very advantageous.

Oursuggestions for Arizona come three-ways: either a downtown hotel in fashionable Scottsdale, one of the excellent golf resorts in the surrounding areas or head north to Sedona for ever more unbelievable scenery and a more sedate après-golf scene.

For golf, we recommend “mix and match” some big-name courses and lesser-known treats so as to help keep the holiday budget down but also to try out the excellent new generation of golf courses.

The Great Canyon is within reach for a once-in-a-lifetime one-day helicopter experience or we can make it part of a two-night extension to your holiday. Palm Beach in California makes for a excellent half of a two-centre holiday as does Los Angeles and San Diego if you’re looking for a “big-city” experience.

There’s a good choice of direct flights to Phoenix and the prices sometimes put Europe to shame.
