Golf Holidays in Agadir
Primarily a beach resort destination, Agadir boasts four golf clubs with a total of 108 golf holes. All-Inclusive beach hotels, golf hotels and an increasing number of top-of-the-range hotels like the Fairmont and The View are making the region increasingly attractive.
Nestled along Morocco’s southern coast, Agadir epitomizes the captivating blend of modern luxury and laid-back charm.
Local History
Agadir’s history is as fascinating as its coastline is mesmerizing. Once a bustling port town, Agadir’s ancient roots can be explored at the Kasbah Agadir Oufella, offering panoramic views of the city and bay. The city’s vibrant culture is showcased at the Souk El Had, where visitors can immerse themselves in the bustling atmosphere of traditional markets. For a glimpse into Agadir’s artistic side, the Amazighe Heritage Museum highlights the rich heritage of Morocco’s indigenous Berber culture.

Summary
Less culture-based and more beach-focused than better-known Marrakech, Agadir is fantastic value and the wave (pardon the pun!) of new hotels is certainly creating new fans. The golf is good without being brilliant. With ideal year-round-weather, I would suggest Agadir as being perfect for that “extra” holiday or if you’re travelling with a group and you need to maximize your budget.
