A stand-alone and bright resort with its own excellent course – designed by no less than Kyle Phillips. The hotel is about a mile inland from the former fishing village that is turning into an eco-friendly destination with a focus on the outdoors. Famous for its surfing, Taghazout has long been frequented by keen boarders and now golfers are coming too to enjoy the comforts of the 172-bedroom hotel and the terrific golf course.

Most of the bedrooms have a balcony or terrace overlooking the Atlantic and measure 35m2 so offer plenty of space. For dining, there’s an open-plan brasserie serving a hearty-themed buffet and 24/7 café plus snacks from the pool bar.
