Mauritius is my favourite long-haul/exotic golf destination with its high level of service and accommodation and beautiful golf courses. The weather in January will be warm with the occasional strong shower followed by more warm weather. The Tamarina Hotel is an intimate four-star with a friendly ambience and idyllic location. A great friend of mine is now Director of Golf there and he is delighted with how the course is now looking and the resort is performing. He has been Director at several famous golf destinations around the world and is very happy at Tamarina and a colleague of mine went there a few weeks ago and thought the food was good, the setting is stunning (complete with private beach) and bedrooms generous. I have based the price on the 39m2 Deluxe Sea View bedrooms. The All Inclusive concept features breakfast, A la carte lunch (Italian menu) and themed buffet dinners as well as all-day drinks on the panoramic terrace. The golf course is excellent, easy walking and very pretty. We view it as a superior four-star with a terrific golf course. Our contacts there will assure you of a warm welcome.
