First place goes to the Mansion House where the bedrooms are deservedly elegant and the “posh” restaurant, bar and lounge, adjacent to the Mansion House is the Parkland building (38 bedrooms), the Country Club (12 bedrooms) is the focal point of the golf club with brasserie, 19th bar, spa, clubhouse, pool and comfortable bedrooms; for the quietest among you I would recommend bedrooms in the delightful Flower Garden building (59 bedrooms); and the bedrooms in the Weir building (84 bedrooms) are about a Par Five from the rest of the resort and are ideal for larger parties. In total there are 228 bedrooms and the architect and interior designer have had field day using all the original and unique characteristics of each building with great respect and imagination.

Dining ranges from clubhouse snacks to gourmet cuisine and there’s an indoor pool and spa for after your tour around the extensive and wonderful grounds.

Golf has been at Luton Hoo for over 100 years and the layout now measures over 7100 from the tips and has hosted the Challenge Tour. An easy-walking parkland, the course offers quite generous fairways, wonderful vistas and is perfectly maintained. Luton Hoo is also just 25 minutes from the three super courses at Woburn so you can treat yourself for golf as much as you can for a luxurious hotel.
