Course overview

One of the nicest courses to play in East Anglia is Sheringham where the fairways are wide, the greens fast and true and you have the choice to play it safe or “go for it” on the more testing holes around the turn. Clubbing is important as the greens are often slightly raised and you must play it to the safe side of the green as many of them slope away to deep pot bunkers.   It’s a very fine and fun test of golf where you should be able to regain any lost confidence although the course has much more teeth when the wind blows.   Dating from 1891 and rated in England’s Top 100 courses.  With North Sea views on one side, the old steam train on the other and a hearty lunch and good pint in the clubhouse, you could be in Heaven.
