Course overview

Completely rebuilt and managed by Troon Golf, Secret Valley is now the second best golf course in Cyprus.

The course follows a scenic and varied layout through light pine forest and is easy to walk. Fairways look tight but are actually quite generous but you do need to get your drive to the correct side of the fairway as the greens are well-protected – so look and plan ahead. Greens are massive so clubbing is important too. And all around you are cooling and rather impressive hills which provide a majestic frame for the golf course. The greens are decently paced and the fairway grasses are beautifully tight and encourage you to strike the ball well.

Secret Valley has far more members than the other courses in the area and the clubhouse is the cosiest. The new practice range and slick Troon Golf service are a nice touch. Just 6260 yards off the back, Secret Valley can allow a good score if you’re driving very well but its teeth is in its layout. It’s a 21^st-century version of a friendly course taking the game back to accuracy and away from the gorillas.
