Sotogrande has been famous for 50 years as “the” finest resort in Spain. For fine-living and fine golf, there’s not much better and the Real Club de Sotogrande is pretty much the focal point of the area. Ranked as one of the best courses in the world by golfing officianados and ranked in the European Top 30 by Golf World, there’s prestige aplenty and the challenge is top too.

Sotogrande is one of Robert Trent Jones’ best courses and was his first in Europe – it’s stood the best of time and the manicured fairways, super slick greens and beautiful design will please every standard of player but don’t tee it up from the back unless you’re super good! It’s maturity also means its classic design is more generous to the sometimes outlandish challenges you face at La Reserva and Finca Cortesin.
