Course overview
Designed by the great Alister MacKenzie, Pasatiempo was long rated one of the best courses in America but was superseded in recent years as new and bigger courses became the trend. Now, with the game going “back to the future”, Pasatiempo will surely feature again.
MacKenzie designed Augusta National and Cypress Point but Pasatiempo was his favourite design. Quite hilly, there are some glimpses of Monterey Bay. There’s a wonderful “old club” feel to the place and the course measures just 6500 yards off the very back so you play the course at its longest and not be overwhelmed.
Very reasonably priced and a true hidden gem.
