Les Aisses is fast catching up on its famous neighbour Les Bordes. Now in the French Top 10, Les Aisses has become a favourite among the serious golfers of France and further afield who love seeking out hidden gems. Les Aisses is rarely busy but it’s fabulous in pretty much every respect: secluded, beautiful and a first-class test of golf designed by the increasingly-admired Martin Hawtree.

With gorse, heather, water, pot bunkers and sloping greens, Les Aisses provides the Full Monty of golfing challenges but it’s never too tight although you do have to concentrate on every shot. Easy walking and easy-on-the-eye, Les Aisses is an instant hit with those who play it.
