Located adjacent to the Chateau de Versailles and a 15-minute stroll from the very centre of Versailles, the beautiful Waldorf Astoria Trianon Palace features a Gordon Ramsay restaurant, a brasserie, beautiful and contemporary bedrooms and excellent service.

Choose from the refined bedrooms and suites in the original Palace building (where the Treaty of Versailles was signed in 1919) or the more modern and functional bedrooms in the new annexe. All guests have access to the excellent Guerlain Spa and health facilities and both buildings are joined by a tunnel running underneath the hotel’s gardens.

The Gordon Ramsay au Trianon restaurant offers a Michelin-starred dining experience and I’ve had a couple of super meals at the La Véranda brasserie where the excellent breakfast is also served. The dining room at The Gordon Ramsay is beautiful but the view at La Veranda – overlooking the chateau gardens – is my favourite.

Smart, sassy, special, the Trianon Palace is “the” place to stay if you’re looking for comfort and style during your golf holiday. It’s also at great value for my clients.
