Golf Holidays in Waterloo

Waterloo is the most popular golf holiday destination in Belgium. A small but extra-concentrated pocket of good golf is waiting for you at just over two hours from Calais in the area south of Brussels known as Brabant Wallon.

It’s a wealthy region and the quality of the golf courses is very high with classics like Waterloo mixing very nicely with modern layouts like the 36-holes at La Tournette and Sept Fontaines.

All told, there are 11 courses that we recommend in the region – from the enjoyable “holiday courses” of Empereur and Bercuit, to the big modern clubs like La Tournette and Sept Fontaines, and beyond to the renowned Ravenstein (also known as Royal Belgium) and Royal Waterloo. We’ve chosen four hotels – two near apres-golf and two golf hotels, and all good value and well-situated for several golf courses.

Eating out in the region is excellent and it’s a constant surprise at just how many eateries there are in the region.
