Golf Holidays in Tuscany

Emilia-Romagna and Tuscany are famous for food and their idyllic scenery of expansive fields, unspoilt towns and villages. Bologna is the capital of Romagna and sits in the middle-north of Italy. If you like your cars, you’ll know that Modena (home to Ferrari, Maserati and Lamborghini) is in Emilia Romagna and the fashionable resorts of Rimini and Ravenna are on the west coast. Tuscany sits just below and boasts such wonderful and historic cities such as Florence, Siena, Lucca and Pisa. Tuscany was home to the Italian Renaissance and also boasts over 100 protected nature reserves and seven World Heritage Sites.

Tuscany is the more renowned for its sights and history so is a little more expensive than Emilia Romagna. Both regions offer a refined choice of golf hotels but neither have a great cluster of good golf courses sitting side-by-side, so you can either choose to have a relaxing holiday based at your golf hotel or choose a more adventurous holiday staying in a city or country hotel and driving to various golf courses. Of course, I can also arrange private transfers if you want the best of both worlds.

I’ve been to Italy many times but no-one knows Italian golf courses and accommodations better than my long-standing contact who lives in Como. He provides me with the latest information and prices only the Italians can get; and these advantages are passed onto my clients.

As with all my holidays, I post you a travel guide to your destination so that you can make the most of your holiday.
