Located in the very heart of Bath (a UNESCO World Heritage Site since 1987), The Gainsborough features two Grade II Listed buildings dating from the early 1800’s.

The bedrooms are not large by modern standards (I recommend the Executive bedrooms to ensure suitable space) but are presented with panache and top-quality amenities and facilities.

The three AA Rosette restaurant is one of the best in town and the hotel is also renowned for is afternoon tea. Of course, the Spa Village Bath – set within the hotel – is one of the highlights and the hotel has direct access to the famous spa waters.

Secure car parking is five minutes’ walk so it’s best to use the Hotel Valet Parking service.
