Hotel Overview

One of my favourite hotels on the Algarve, the Praia Verde Boutique Hotel is located just 500 yards from the magnificent beach minutes from the beach and 15 minutes from the Spanish border. Nestled in pine woodland with the smell of the ocean in the air, the hotel offers a peaceful retreat while still being close to vibrant coastal towns like Monte Gordo and Tavira. It’s also a ten-minute straight-line drive from the two fine golf courses of Quinta da Ria and Quinta da Cima.

Hotel Accommodation

This design-led boutique hotel has 65 suites (25 of which are brand new and the other 40 renovated), each with a modern, minimalist aesthetic. Rooms feature private balconies and open-plan layouts. Choose the top-floor bedrooms to have Ocean View.

Dinning & bars

Praia Verde Boutique Hotel has a super-friendly atmosphere and shows attention-to-detail. One of its greatest attractions is the À TERRA Restaurant which specializes in wood-fired, Mediterranean and local-inspired cuisine. It’s hearty, delicious and about as eco-friendly as a restaurant can get with the kitchen producing their own breads, butter and chocolates. The kitchen is the heart of the hotel. There’s also the Pool Bar where light meals, cocktails and “straight out of the orchard” orange juices are served on the terrace.
