A stand-alone resort pretty much halfway between San Diego and Pelican Hill, Carlsbad is a logical (and enjoyable) choice for part of a two- or three-centre tour or enjoy the very good deals and stay here throughout your holiday to enjoy the local attractions or even Los Angeles and San Diego which are within easy reach.
There are eight pools, spa, 17 tennis courses, Athletic Club, five restaurants and, of course, the two courses that share the hosting of the USPGA tour on a regular basis.
The accommodation – with a total of 604 bedrooms – is set out in five distinct areas so you can choose the “flavour” of your setting and view. For longer stays, the Villas are perfect with fully-equipped kitchens, bathroom for each bedroom (up to three bedrooms), gas fireplace and patio or balcony.
A truly US-style resort with a strong emphasis on quality but at very reasonable prices.
