Overlooking the 9th and 18th holes of Muirfield and adjacent to the clubhouse, Greywalls is one of my favourite hotels in the UK and is perfect for both golfers and non-golfers.

With just 23 bedrooms, Greywalls is just about as idyllic as you could wish for. Designed by Sir Edwin Lutyens and opened in 1901, Greywalls boasts sumptuous lounges, fabulous Michel Roux cooking and beautiful bedrooms – they all go to make Greywalls so good that you’d do book a couple of non-golfing days so that you can really enjoy the setting. The hotel also has a stunning garden complete with croquet, lawn tennis course and putting green.

As well as being on Muirfield Golf Club, Greywalls is close to Archerfield, Gullane. Luffness and North Berwick. We have special access to Muirfield on seven days this summer and have combined those special days with a round at Gullane No.1 and two nights’ dinner, bed and breakfast at the hotel…And just a step away from one of the rounds of your life.
