Designed by Kyle Phillips to resemble the links of his homeland Scotland, Murtoli plays like a links but the similarities stop there. For a start, you can leave your waterproofs at home and the fairways are sometimes lined by olive trees. The fairways are quite generous but the greens – often best attacked with bumps and runs – are heavily defended by bunkers. Short but extremely sweet and perfect for a easy afternoon’s exercise or play a round before and after lunch served in the stunning clubhouse.
