Course overview

Vale do Lobo features two legendary courses: the Royal Course and the Ocean Course, both designed by three-time Open winner and Hall of Famer Sir Henry Cotton who designed quite a few golf courses in Portugal when he retired there in the 1960’s with his wife Toots until his death in 1987. Sir Henry and Toots were classy, fun and elegant . As is Vale do Lobo.

Royal Course

Yardage: 6,692 yards
Famous for the cliff-edge 16th hole, the Royal Course is challenging yet picturesque. A generous and beautiful walk on lush fairways in idyllic surroundings.

Ocean Course

Par: 73
Yardage: 6,671 yards
The Ocean Course offers an even more relaxed layout, with holes running alongside the Atlantic. The back nine, in particular, provides stunning coastal views and plays slightly easier than the Royal.
