Val Secret PARKLAND
Course overview
Near the town of Chateau Thierry and at the western end of the Champagne Tourist Route, Val Secret is a tight woodland course with well-protected greens. The Slope is a mean 141 off the White’s and the course requires brain more than brawn although there are a few birdie opportunities if you can hit a long ball. There are several super holes and lovely views but I’ve still to learn how to properly play the 12th and 14th as the slope seems to take every shot off its track. Take a buggy, play sensibly and you’ll enjoy the round. The clubhouse serves hearty cuisine.
