The European WORLD-CLASS LINKS

Course overview

I love a tough links (as long as we don’t play Medal!) and The European is one of the toughest of them all.  Deservedly ranked amongst the world’s finest courses, it’s dramatic from start to finish and regularly tweaked by its original architect Pat Ruddy.  30 miles south of Dublin and overlooking Brittas Bay.   Fans include Woods, McIlroy and Harrington.

The European is proud to be among the 150 true links courses of the world (courses built on land between the sea and inland soils) and comes complete with classic hazards such as bunkers lined with railway sleepers, fast-running fairways and naturally-sloping greens.   A brilliant golf course from start to finish and there’s even an extra two par-three’s making it a 20-hole golf experience!
