Teynac Golf Club PARKLAND
Course overview
For the higher Handicap golfer looking for a nice walk in between touring the Dordogne villages and restaurants, Teynac is just the ticket. It’s short at 5500 yards and a par of 68 but it makes no pretence at being a “big” course. With hardly any bunkers (and half of them are on the one hole) and only a touch of water, Teynac is great for building your confidence and, with six par threes, your accuracy. The course should take no more than three hours to play so start at 9 or 10 and head for lunch in the charming clubhouse. And we have fantastic-value on-site bedrooms and gites available too. Teynac is well-placed at just half an hour from Bordeaux and even closer to Saint Emilion. All-in-all, a fun place for budding golfers to test the waters of a golf holiday and the Dordogne region.
