Course overview
Saint Endreol golf club is one of our favourites because it is so beautiful and it gives you a fair chance of getting a decent score in return for a good effort. Tucked away in glorious countryside, Saint Endreol is nevertheless superbly located and is within 30 minutes of many of our Provence hotels and 45 minutes of our hotels in and around Cannes.
Celebrating 30 years, Saint Endreol has never looked better with great maintenance and new fairway shaping closely following the contours of the undulating terrain. Stretching to almost 7000 yards off the tiger tees, Saint Endreol is quite a tough par 72, so there are white, yellow, blue and red tees which are fairer and the course becomes more of a test of golfing intelligence instead of brute strength. You’ll have to deal with dog-legs, make sure your tee-shot lands on the right fairway plateau, take into account the flag position on the enormous greens and try to ignore the spectacular scenery.
We’ve played Saint Endreol many times and never tired of it. In fact, there are only two weakish holes on the course and the other 16 range between good and brilliant. With a hotel and quality self-catering on site, as well as a clubhouse where lunch on the panoramic terrace could be almost as rewarding as your 38 points.
