Course overview

Over 130 years old, Royal Ashdown Forest is a stunning heathland course rated among the Top 30 courses in England. The design has barely been touched since 1922 and there’s no need when nature provides such wonderful hazards and challenges. There’s a second course too – The West – which is rated as the No.1 course under 6000 yards in England. It’s a wonderful golf club with clubhouse and ambience to match. In fact, many of the world’s best architects (past and present) have expressed their admiration of the club.
The Old Course is slightly undulating and boasts fabulous vistas. A canny game is required as the small greens are brilliantly protected.
