Course overview

Quinta do Lago boasts three championship golf courses: the South Course, North Course, and Laranjal. Each course offers a unique challenge and immaculate conditions.

South Course

Par: 72
Yardage: 7,091 yards
Designed by William Mitchell in 1974, the South Course is the crown jewel of Quinta do Lago and has hosted the Portuguese Open several times. It features wide fairways, water hazards on several holes, and large, fast greens. Strategic play is key here.

North Course

Par: 72
Yardage: 6,776 yards
Redesigned by Beau Welling and Paul McGinley in 2014, the North Course is arguably the toughest course in the area. It features undulating greens, well-placed bunkers and clever use of water hazards.

Laranjal

Par: 72
Yardage: 6,945 yards
Laranjal, located slightly outside Quinta do Lago, was originally an orange grove (hence its name!) Opened in 2009, it’s characterized by a huge variety of challenge and design as well as a real mix of green sizes. But it all blends into a very enjoyable layout and brilliantly maintained – as are all three courses.
