Course overview
The “baby” of the Utrecht golf scene, Lage Vuursche opened in 2000 but has already climbed into the Dutch Top 10 and European Top 100. Designed by Kyle Phillips – once of the best golf architects in recent times – Lage Vuursche is relatively long and wide compared to my other three recommendations and there are nine holes where water can come into play too. So this is modern rather than classic golf but perfectly balanced and kept to superb standards and in an idyllic farm- and woodland setting.
