La Marterie Golf Club PARKLAND
Course overview
This delightful course is the best in the region of Perigord and has a lovely clubhouse. Designed by Michel Gayon – a prolific and respected French golf course architect – La Marterie is built on heathland and dips in and out of a variety of challenges with a bit of target golf here, a bit of parkland there and a bit of traditional heathland complete with gorse. The course opens up wide and then gets a little longer with some water hazards and then moves into the woodland with a particular demanding finish from the 11th.
It is well-located for all the “must see” towns of Bergerac, Perigueux and Sarla and we’ve got good rates at the adjacent three-star hotel Manoir des Cedres.
