Formerly know as the Ryder Cup course, the North is American in design although the Europeans still managed to beat the USA by a whopping 18 ½ to 9 ½ points. Also regular host to the European Tour, the North is a “tick-list” course, measuring some 7350 yards off the very back. Off the Yellows, it’s fairer, easy-to-walk and the course conditioning is immaculate
Playing like an inland links, the dunes-style shaping leads to very individual holes and wonderful vistas. Also a regular venue to the European Tour, the South course is arguably more fun than the North and is certainly more typical of the design you’d in this beautiful part of the world.
Both courses share a superb club house and there’s a brand new indoor virtual golf centre for your “days off” or even just a few fun holes after lunch.
