Course overview

Surrounding its own hotel, Saint Saens golf is made up of three distinct design loops.  The first is on the lower plateau with fairly generous fairways, and well-protected greens thanks to a meandering stream.  The next loop is on the higher plateau where length is most important and the last stretch is the tightest and takes in the woodland leading down to the chateau.  All-in-all, Saint Saens is enjoyable and not too demanding or tiring.   Located about 30 minutes north of Rouen and 90 minutes south of Calais, Saint Saens is well-worth using as a great-value and cosy hotel base and also playing en-route from or to Calais.
