Course overview

With three courses – including one dating back to 1889 – Minchinhampton is a slick golf club offering super maintenance.  The Cherington is the highest rated course and was a venue for Open Championship Regional Qualifying for several years.  The Cherington is easy walking, features fairway mounds and deep greenside bunkers.  The Avening is slightly more open and arguably the prettier of the two “new” courses.   The Old Course, located ten minutes away, plays like an inland links and asks for skill and subtlety from start to finish with raised and shallow greens, ancient mounds and sometimes tiny greens.
