Course overview

Known as the “Grand Dame” of Algarve golf, the Dom Pedro Old Course is one of Portugal’s oldest and most revered layouts. Designed by Frank Pennink and opened in 1969, it features a classic parkland design with tree-lined fairways and gently undulating terrain. The Old Course demands decent accuracy off the tee, as towering pine trees and well-placed bunkers punish errant shots. Signature holes include the par-4 4th, with its elevated green, and the challenging par-3 16th, which requires a precise shot to a narrow green surrounded by trouble.
The Old Course is a must-play.
