Originally designed by Old Tom Morris and then redesigned by Tom Simpson and Herbert Fowler, Cruden Bay opened in 1899 and comes with the finest pedigree. It’s 18 holes of soft links turf surrounded by towering sand dunes and sensational views of the North Sea. Just 6263 yards off the back, Cruden Bay is a brilliant example of how a clever design can overcome the most modern of golfers.
