The oldest course in Yorkshire, York was founded in 1890 and designed by JH Taylor. York is a beautiful heathland with fairly generous fairways but small and well-guarded greens. The par threes are short and very sweet and the par fives are birdieable. The par fours are where you need to protect your score. Easy walking.
