Just a very short drive from the idyllic market town, a round in the morning followed by a tour of the Georgian High Street and pubs makes for a great day. Founded in 1893, the course owes most to Fred Hawtree and James Braid and Woodbridge vies for being the best course in Suffolk and is rated in England’s Top 100. At just under 6300 yards, it’s not a long course but there are plenty of perfect bunkers to protect the greens. That said, the design, views and condition of the course encourage you to play well and the greens are excellent so you have no excuses not to post a decent score.
