A stunning golf course, my only criticism of the Marquess is that a lot of the holes seem to be repeated with shortish par four dog-legs being the order of the day. That said, what’s there to grumble about when the conditioning and look of the course is so good. There are a couple of monster holes around the turn. I prefer the layout on the back nine but the front nine is so very pretty.
