Part-owned by living legend Johnny Miller, Silverado is now realising its potential. With two courses and a superb location in the famous wine region, Silverado has gained a AAA Four-Diamond Award, Golfweek Best Courses You Can Play ranking and Conde Nast Traveler Reader’s Choice award in 2019.
The resort has 340 bedrooms and 10 pools as well as eight restaurants and bars.
The bedrooms are dotted around in four different settings with Mansion Estates being closest to the main hotel and Oak Creek closest to the golf. Wherever you choose, the bedrooms are elegant and light although compared to other resorts, they are a little small.
For dining, you can choose from anything between a hot dog to fine dining although the resort is just three miles from downtown Napa where there is a famous choice of wine bars and eateries.
A great base to explore the region’s vineyards and golf courses while keeping the holiday budget to a very reasonable level.
