La Boulie is the oldest of the exclusive clubs around Paris and hosted the French Open as long ago as 1907 (won by Arnaud Massy) and The Eisenhower Trophy as recently as 1994 (won by Tiger Woods).
With two very fine courses, a tennis club, gorgeous clubhouse and a smart casual” ambience, Racing Club is a much respected name in French golfing circles. The courses are quite generous off the tee but the fairways narrow towards the well-bunkered greens. This is clever and traditional parkland and forest course design. Of the two, the Forest course is my favourite although I tend to score better on the more generous La Vallee.
