The “big boy” of golf around Macon, the American parkland design of Golf de Macon la Salle regularly hosts major amateur events and the occasional PGA tournament. Just 10 minutes from Macon, the course is presented well with large and fast greens. Most of the difficulty comes from the penal rough but the fairways are usually kept wide so you should score well if your putting is on form
