Opened in Spring 2019, Le Grand Pavillon has been a four-year project built to resemble an 18th-century hamlet. With mature woodland and the Nonette river, the 17-hectare grounds are ideal to relax in and to contemplate how to improve your next round.
There are 211 modern and fresh bedrooms, all spread out over 8 low-level buildings.
The Reception leads to two bar areas and the 24/7 Market Food Corner and across the courtyard is the brasserie and fine dining restaurant. The spa and large indoor pool are in the central building with most of the bedrooms dotted around with views over the countryside. It all makes for a very friendly atmosphere with space and quiet when you want it and plenty of life in the public buildings. I was very impressed with the design and thought behind the design.
The hotel is a two-minute drive from Chantilly and eight minutes from Senlis. You can access the huge and beautiful forest by a short walk through the neighbouring village. Taxis are plentiful and reasonably priced.
